Our research group is integrated by an ensemble of academics, with professional activity and experience in the market, highly qualified in the field of commercial law, that have exerted their activity in businesses and business associations, as well as national and European public institutions. The fields in which they provide service are those of competition law, intellectual property, commercial contracts, corporate law, business groups and business collaboration.
Our group offers three types of services: arbitration and mediation, consulting and research contracts.
Arbitration and mediation
Our group members hold extensive experience in commercial arbitration and mediation, having acted as one-man arbitrators, members or presidents of arbitration association, as well as ad-hoc and institutional mediators.
Among our members there are European Arbitration Court, Chamber of Commerce of Madrid’s Arbitration Court and Chamber of Commerce of Valencia’s Court of Mediation and Arbitration arbitrators. Even though our field of action in arbitration and mediation extends to all areas of Commercial law, due to our specialisation, our members possess intensive knowledge and experience in the areas of Competition law, intellectual property, distribution and financial contracts, corporate law, cooperatives, business groups and business collaboration instruments.
Consulting
Our group offers consulting services specialised in the field of business collaboration – distribution, franchising, licensing, agency, and selective and exclusive distribution contracts–, and organisational collaboration among corporations –economic interest groups, UTEs, consortiums, clusters and business groups–, both from the substantive perspective and from the Competition law perspective.
Our services in this regard include:
• Legal notes, reports and expert’s opinions;
• Seminars on a particular topic and formative seminars;
• Negotiation processes assessment;
• Competition law auditing and compliance.
Research contracts
We have a long recorded experience in research contracts, in the EU as well as national and foreign public and private institutions, including Volkswagen Stiftung.
We offer the possibility of conducting research contracts with businesses, business associations and institutions to analyse issues and provide them with a variety of solutions and instruments of analysis for the problems submitted to our consideration that might require an effort larger than issuing a report or an expert’s opinion.
Various types of research contract are offered, depending on the degree of collaboration with the contracting institution.
